TapToRing is a digital doorbell app that allows you to create, customize, and share your unique doorbell with friends and family. When someone "rings" your digital doorbell, you receive instant notifications on your phone.

TapToRing offers a free basic version with essential features. We also offer a premium subscription with additional features such as unlimited custom sounds, advanced customization options, and priority notifications. The premium subscription costs $2.99/month or $24.99/year.

TapToRing is available for both iOS and Android devices. For iOS, you need iOS 13.0 or later. For Android, you need Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later. The app works on smartphones and tablets.

TapToRing is currently in development and will be available soon. Join our waiting list to be notified when the app launches and to get early access.

To create an account, download the TapToRing app from the App Store or Google Play, open it, and tap "Sign Up." You can create an account using your email address, or sign up with your Google or Apple account for faster registration.

After creating an account, follow these steps:

1. Tap "Create Doorbell" on the home screen
2. Choose a name for your doorbell
3. Select a doorbell sound from our library or upload your own
4. Customize the appearance of your doorbell
5. Tap "Save" to finish setup

Your digital doorbell is now ready to share with others!

Yes! With the free version, you can create up to 3 different doorbells. Premium subscribers can create unlimited doorbells for different purposes or locations.

To reset your password:

1. Go to the login screen
2. Tap "Forgot Password"
3. Enter the email address associated with your account
4. Check your email for a password reset link
5. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password

To share your doorbell:

1. Go to your doorbell settings
2. Tap "Share Doorbell"
3. Choose how you want to share (QR code, link, or direct invite)
4. Send the invitation to your friends or family

When they receive your invitation, they can tap the link or scan the QR code to access your doorbell. They don't need to have the app installed to ring your doorbell.

Yes! TapToRing offers several ways to customize your doorbell sound:

• Choose from our library of pre-made doorbell sounds
• Record your own voice or sounds
• Upload audio files from your device (Premium feature)
• Use our sound mixer to create unique combinations (Premium feature)

When someone rings your digital doorbell, you'll receive an instant push notification on your device. The notification will show who rang your doorbell (if they're identified) and when. You can customize notification sounds and vibration patterns for each doorbell you create.

Premium users can set up priority notifications that override silent mode for important contacts.

Yes! TapToRing keeps a detailed history of all doorbell rings, including:

• Date and time of each ring
• Who rang your doorbell (if they're identified)
• Device and location information (if permission is granted)

Free users can access the last 7 days of history, while Premium users have unlimited history access.

If you're not receiving notifications, try these steps:

1. Check if notifications are enabled for TapToRing in your device settings
2. Make sure you have a stable internet connection
3. Verify that Do Not Disturb mode is turned off
4. Restart the app
5. If the problem persists, try reinstalling the app

To reduce battery usage:

• Update to the latest version of the app
• Go to Settings > Battery Optimization and adjust the settings
• Reduce the notification check frequency in the app settings
• Close the app when not in use instead of leaving it running in the background

If your custom sound isn't working:

• Make sure the audio file is in a supported format (MP3, WAV, or M4A)
• Check that the file size is under 5MB
• Verify that your device's media volume is turned up
• Try uploading the sound again
• If using a recorded sound, try recording in a quieter environment
